Adrian is Principal Consultant for Potash and Fertilizers, based in London. Adrian spent three decades in the mining and marketing industries, including 19 years with Rio Tinto in commercial and business development functions in Europe and Asia-Pacific, and eight years with junior exploration and development companies, such as Satimola in Kazakhstan and Ferrous Resources in Brazil. He has experience with mining development projects, and their promotion to financial backers and prospective buyers, as well as international commerce in bulk minerals, and sales to a wide range of agricultural, industrial and speciality markets around the world. Adrian is responsible for consulting in the areas of potash and speciality fertilizers, publishing several annual multi-client strategy reports each year, as well as working on single-client projects to assess market feasibility.

A native of Moscow, Dr. Svetlana Ivanova graduated with honors in 1995 and received her Ph.D. in 1999 at the Lomonosov Moscow State University. Her Ph.D. thesis examined the changes in the buffer capacity of forest podzolic soils to acids and alkalis under the influence of simulated acid precipitations. From 1999 to 2001 she was a research scientist in the Institute of Oceanology (Russian Academy of Science). She worked as agronomist from 2001 to 2002. From September 2002 to 2007 she was employed by JSC “Uralkali”, based in Berezniki, as a senior technical expert. Starting in 2005, Dr. Ivanova worked as coordinator of the China program of the International Potash Institute. In August of 2008 Dr. Ivanova joined the International Plant Nutrition Institute as Vice-President for Eastern Europe and Central Asia region. Throughout her career, Dr. Ivanova has been active in community and professional organizations, including the recent service as member of several task forces of the Agriculture Committee in IFA. She authored an impressive list of scientific publications as well as technical reports and presentations. Dr. Ivanova is a member of the Dokuchaev Soil Science Society of Russia.

Franck Hennequart is an Engineer, graduated in the Marine Biology and Biotechnology Laboratory of the University of Caen (Normandy, France), specialised in the valorisation of marine resources. Franck worked first for 3 years in British Columbia in Canada as R&D project assistant for a Provincial organisation promoting partnership between Industry and Research groups for technological transfer in aquaculture. Back in Europe, he has been then appointed Project Coordinator in the Molecular Glycobiotechnology Group of the Dept. of Biochemistry at National University of Ireland Galway. In parallel, he participated to the creation and the setup of OGT, an Irish company developing novel seaweed extracts. In June 2008, Franck joined OGT full time as Technical Director. OGT was acquired by the Spanish company Tradecorp International in June 2014 where he became global seaweed project manager for the whole group. Early 2016, Franck and his colleagues turned over a spin-off company into ALGAIA, a company producing seaweed extracts and specialised in providing consultancy, analyses and bioactivity tests for the valorisation of algae in many sectors of activities. Franck is also share-holder of a French consulting company called SEANEO specialised in management of aquaculture, artificial reefs and Marine Protected Areas.

Before joining Fertilizers Europe in March 2016, Tiffanie was a senior policy officer in the European & environmental affairs department of the German Farmers’ Association (Deutscher Bauernverband, DBV) in Brussels. Having worked in European affairs and in the farming sector for about ten years, she has developed a deep insight in public relations as well as a strong network in Brussels with representatives from the EU institutions and relevant stakeholders in the agri-food chain. Tiffanie is passionate about food & cooking for family and friends. She is also fascinated by islands as a travel destination, a great escape to discover places she never knew could exist. She holds a university degree in political science from “Sciences Po Lille” and a master degree in European public management.
