Décio Fabricio Oddone da Costa graduated with an Electrical Engineering degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and studied Petroleum Engineering at Petrobras. He attended the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School and the Advanced Management Programme at the Insead. He was awarded an honorary PhD in Education from Universidad de Aquino, in Bolivia. He has worked at Petrobras and subsidiaries in Brazil, Angola, Libya, Bolivia (of which he was the CEO) and Argentina (of which he was CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors). Indicated by Petrobras, he was the Vice-President of Braskem. He was also Chairman of the Board of Directors at Innova S.A. and Braskem-Idesa S.A.P.I, and Director of Oil and Gas Projects at Prumo Logística S.A. He was the President of the Bolivian-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and the Argentine Chamber of the Oil Industry. Since 2016, he has been the Director-General of the ANP.
