Earlier, he was Head of Periam Investor Group and part of the investment team at Morgan Stanley Investment Management in Saudi Arabia. Thomas is System Manager at the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) System. Today, more than 5,000 companies in over 100 countries use the ISCC system to demonstrate sustainability and credible greenhouse gas emissions reductions along their supply chains. After working both for the German government and the European Commission on climate and energy-related matters, Thomas’ work now primarily focuses on the sustainability certification for sustainable aviation fuels. He leads the team managing ISCC CORSIA, the ISCC certification standard recognised by ICAO to certify CORSIA eligible SAF. In addition, Thomas is part of the CAEP Working Group within ICAO as well as leads the SAF Working Group within Aireg, the Aviation Initiative for Renewable Energy in Germany.

She was an Associate Partner at Hanson Family Holdings (formerly Hanson Plc) for over 12 years where she was involved in a large number of corporate advisory and management consultancy projects focusing on growth, strategy, turnaround, start-up commercialisation, business and operating model transformation, finance, investment, M&A, marketing and brand development. She previously held Chief Executive roles in the oil and gas, mining, healthcare and manufacturing sectors. Henry’s career has taken in stints as an environmental consultant, researcher and policy advisor. He worked for international non-profit organisation Climate Group on US energy efficiency policy, as an Energy Department policy adviser on smart energy technology innovation and strategy, and as a policy advisor on the UK government’s contracts for difference (CfD) renewable electricity support scheme. He was responsible for designing a streamlined energy and carbon reporting policy for the UK, the third CfD allocation round, and more recently the new green gas levy in Great Britain that funds the green gas support scheme. Henry has master’s degrees in sustainable energy futures from Imperial College London and in energy demand reduction from University College London and Loughborough University.
