Greg Dolan has held a variety of senior management positions with the Methanol Institute over the past 23 years. In June 2014, he was appointed as permanent CEO of the global methanol industry trade association, after serving as Acting CEO for four years. Mr. Dolan manages MI’s offices in Washington, Singapore, Brussels and Beijing, while directing international governmental relations, media relations, public education and outreach efforts. He has presented papers on methanol-related topics at over 100 international conferences, authored magazine articles, and written book chapters on the methanol industry. Mr. Dolan came to MI after spending a decade in a variety of public information positions in New York State, including the Department of Environmental Conservation, the Department of Transportation, and the Energy Research and Development Authority. Mr. Dolan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Boston University, and did extensive post graduate work in Political Communication at the State University of New York-Albany.

Dr. Wang leads the ongoing development of Argonne’s GREET software model for life cycle analysis of vehicle technologies and transportation fuels (see greet.es.anl.gov for details). At present, there are more than 50,000 registered GREET users globally. The GREET model and its results have been used by regulatory agencies such as the California Air Resources Board, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, and the International Civil Aviation Organization to develop transportation fuel regulations. Besides, the model and results are used by automotive companies, energy companies, and others to address the greenhouse gas footprints of their businesses, products, and technologies. Dr. Wang is a fellow of the Society of Automotive Engineers and a member of the Transportation Energy Committee of the Transportation Research Board. He is on the editorial boards of four international journals. He has over 300 publications in the areas of transportation energy and environment effects.

Dr. Meidl was previously appointed as Deputy Associate Administrator of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration in Washington, D.C. where she led the agency’s domestic and international strategy, policy, and programs. She has over 25 years of regulatory, public policy, advocacy and technical experience in industry, academia, government and international relations. Medlock is also a Distinguished Fellow at the Institute of Energy Economics, Japan, and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Payne Institute at Colorado School of Mines. In 2012-2013, Medlock held the prestigious Haydn Williams Fellowship at Curtin University in Perth, Australia. He teaches advanced courses in energy economics and supervises Ph.D. students in the energy economics field.
