Ms Jaskinder Shingwekar has been an oil industry professional for the last thirty one years. As Head Institutional Business she adds value to organisation’s growth activities by identifying new commercial opportunities and keeping abreast of trends and market conditions to provide strategic advice to upper management. She has an entrepreneurial mind-set with great leadership skills and excellent organizational abilities. She is responsible of developing expertise in the B2B sales segment. Also responsible to use better innovative methods and introduce processes to make this a more profitable portfolio. Ms. Shingwekar has been an enthusiastic and energetic member of the industry and her contribution to the Pricing fraternity has been far recognised. Prior to joining Nayara Energy, Ms. Shingwekar worked with IOC’s Accounts, Internal Audit, Pricing and Business Development functions. She has worked with IOC’s petrochemical SBU since its earliest days and has been responsible for formulating its policy for various departments like Pricing, Exports, and Chartering etc. Backed by her strong credentials and industry experience Ms. Shingwekar is part of the core senior management team of Nayara Energy and has been instrumental in paradigm shift in leveraging IT and systems to create a strong commercial environment in Nayara Energy. She has also been a Speaker in many Indian as well as international forums.

She started out at Argus covering the US coal markets. Prior to joining Argus, Lauren was the editor of an ocean technology magazine, and she had previously written for political and lifestyle publications. A native of New York, Lauren has lived in Washington, DC, since 2006.

With 18 years of experience in the aluminium smelter field, Ms Najeeba Al Jabri joined Dubal as Project Engineer in 2001. She was involved in the start up of 79B Expansion Project in 2006, with annual production of 450,000 tones. In 2007 she was awarded by the International Aluminum Institute for Best Environment Friendly Producer award. In 2008 she was awarded on leading the restoration of the production lines after long power outage. In 2013, she joined Emirates Aluminium (EMAL), and was appointed to lead the energization (start-up) of the longest aluminium line in the world, EMAL’s Potline 3. Energizing Potline 3 involved 400 employees working around the clock for seven & half months. Despite the intense pace and the volume of activity required, the energization of the entire pot-line was achieved with zero lost time injury and the project was delivered to Operations ahead of scheduled time. She currently serves as Vice President – Technical, Midstream with Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA).

Over the past 6 years, Robert has been studying ways to improve the energy efficiency and economics of oil by coupling refinery byproducts to power and industrial markets. He has published several papers on the topic and continues to actively develop projects using these high value solutions. Robert started his career over 30 years ago with a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
